Food and Booze for Castle.

What is everyone plannig to bring? Everyone bringing their own stuff or do you just wanna plan some meals and split the cost?
Booze will be everyone for themselves.

I have a fold out campfire ring and I believe I have a tripod grill for over it. I also am going to bring sticks for dogs if anyone needs them. I will also bring my briskets for steaks and burgers. All cooking will likely be done over the camp fire. Keep that in mind.

I found some things in a camping cook book I wanna try. Friday nite I'd like to try foil pouch pizzas and for Saturday nite I'd like to try a hobo dinner. Any suggestions of breakfast and lunch?

HOBO DINNER

Corn on the cob
Sm. red potatoes
Polish or smoked sausage
Melted butter
Half & Half or canned milk
Seasonings to taste

Arrange cleaned corn around perimeter of 1 gallon can (or 3 pound coffee can) with ears standing on large end. Fill the middle with potatoes. Place sausage over vegetables. Add remaining ingredients. Cover can (aluminum foil) and punch a hole in the top. Put the can over hot coals until steam starts from the hole in the top of the can. Steam for about 20 minutes or until vegetables are done. Use mitts to remove from heat and tongs to serve. Cooking liquid can be used to pour over vegetables, rather than using more butter. Can be prepared at home and frozen, then reheated

How many do we have going? I need a head count so I can get the proper amount of food.

The meals I have planned are Sat, breakfast and dinner and Sunday, breakfast and lunch. I figured Sat. lunch we could just grab something from the snack shack. More time to play that way. and Friday we'd just grab supper on the way up.

And there may not be corn on the cob for the hobo diner so I may just add carrots or something else.

I anyone planning on brining cooking irons? (mountain pie makers) I only have the cheap aluminium ones, if anybody can bring the good cast ones they will make breakfast easy.

I'm going to bring a case of bottled water and a case of Propel fitness water. I can put these in with the team's grocery bill if everyone just want's me to bring this stuff up.
